Dan LeRoy is a Level 2 Trained Swimming Coach and a Triathlon Coach. He has extensive experience as both a coach and program designer for swimmers of all ages. Growing up in the Pointe-Claire swimming system, Dan medaled at the Age Group Provincials and Age Group National Competitions.
Most recently, Dan was the lead coach for swimmers 9-12 at ROC Swimming in Ottawa. Many of his swimmers competed and won medals in regional and provincial competitions. Above all, Dan values the importance of a good relationship with his swimmers and strives to ensure that NCAC consistently provides a positive environment for its swimmers.
Véronique Roberts is a Certified Exercise Physiologist with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) and is a graduate of the University of Ottawa (2012). She has worked as a personal trainer, group exercise coach and indoor cycling instructor.
Véronique joined the Cadets when she was thirteen years of age and started running and training. She has been hooked ever since. Véronique has been into horsemanship for over 20 years and has been running regularly for over 5 years. Her 5 km personal best is 19:13. She has been training and racing in running (from 5k races to Ultra Marathon), cyclocross, cycling, duathlons and triathlons including sprint triathlon and the Ironman Lake Placid in July of 2014.
Véronique is fluent in French and English and brings passion, energy and a wealth of knowledge to her classes and sessions
